👋 The Role

As the Risk Manager at 21bitcoin, your mission is to lead and innovate our risk management initiatives, ensuring we navigate the complexities of regulatory compliance with excellence. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust risk programs that align with regulatory guidelines such as DORA and MiCAR. You will be the central figure in planning, executing, and building our risk department. Aufgaben

🤓 Here's a taste of what you can expect in this role:

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive risk programs aligned with Risk Management Framework, Business Continuity Management, ICT Security Strategy, and more.
Support the licensing process for MiCAR compliance in all risk relevant topics and ensure adherence to DORA regulations.
Serve as the primary contact for all risk-related inquiries from stakeholders, customers, auditors, and authorities.
Build and lead the risk department, working closely with consultants to establish all risk-related components including policy development and governance.
Drive the integration of the overall control framework, particularly focusing on operational risk, business continuity management, compliance, and security.

Qualifikation

⭐ Skills we’re excited about

At least 2 years of direct experience in risk or related fields in a regulated financial services environment.
Extensive knowledge of risk frameworks (MaComp, MaRisk, MaDepot, etc.) and related European frameworks (MiFID, MAD, etc.), including operational risk management, business continuity management, outsourcing, and information security (a huge plus).
Proven track record in operational oversight, policy and procedure development, and day-to-day activity monitoring.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with regulators.
Self-starter with a hands-on approach, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
Must be located within ±2 hours of CET timezone
Being based in or willing to relocate to Munich, Salzburg, or Vienna is a significant advantage (relocation assistance available)
