About the role

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-driven working student to join our Intelligent Solutions and Applications team at Agile Robots. As a key player in robotics innovation, we’re developing cutting-edge solutions for industries worldwide. As a Working Student in Mechatronic Engineering, you will be responsible for creating 3D CAD models of teleoperation devices that facilitate intuitive and precise control for training our robotic Model. You’ll work closely with engineers to prototype, refine designs, and ensure seamless functionality for real-world operations. Join us and be part of the future of robotics!

Your Responsibilities

Design 3D CAD models of teleoperation devices for robotic systems using SOLIDWORKS.
Collaborate with the team to prototype and refine device designs for optimal performance and usability.
Create ergonomic, efficient designs that ensure ease of assembly and functionality.
Use 3D printing for rapid prototyping and iterative design.
Focus on user-friendly designs that prioritize comfort and ease of use.
Work with engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities and propose enhancements.
Assist in integrating input devices with robotic systems and teleoperation software.
Collaborate with the robotics software team to ensure design compatibility across mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Continuously improve designs based on testing and feedback, optimizing for durability and performance.

Your Profile

Currently enrolled in a university program, in a technical field of study such as Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics, or a related discipline.
Basic understanding of mechatronic systems, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
Prior experience with handling and developing teleoperation devices.
Familiarity with the principles of teleoperation and human-machine interaction, including the integration of input devices with robotic control systems.
Knowledge of prototyping techniques (e.g., 3D printing, Machining) and material selection for mechanical parts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English .
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot design issues and iterate to improve functionality and usability.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of working in multidisciplinary teams.
