About the role

We offer a Working Student position in our AI Team focused on data collection and analysis. Often, large amounts of high-quality data are required to generate viable robot learning policies. As a team member, you will help us determine which features of the data and which aspects of data collection are essential for high quality data. The role also offers ample opportunities to sharpen your profile by being involved in the development of real-world applications and by working on multiple domains. Please note that you must be enrolled in a study program to be considered for this role.

Your Responsibilities

Collection of training data for robot learning involving different robot embodiments.
Understand existing software stack and suggest improvements to enable faster data collection and processing.
Working with advanced teleoperation methods for robot control.
Work independently and collaborate where necessary to complete the task at hand.

Essential Skills

Required Bachelor or Master student in Computer Science, Robotics or similar field.
Good programming skills in Python and experience with git and dockerization.
Hands-on experience with common DL frameworks like PyTorch.
Capable of working with Linux-based systems.

Beneficial Skills

Previous experience with ROS or ROS2.
Knowledge in working with cameras and image processing.
Good understanding of Robot Learning.
Hands-on experience with collaborative development tools like Jira and Confluence.
