    ADH has a dual mission: Developing cloud-based software applications for Health insurance and supporting Allianz units world-wide in optimising their Health insurance business along the value chain.

    Tasks

    • Support our experienced team of Health actuaries in developing and optimizing innovative pricing models.
    • Analysing data, calculating cost trends, and determining risk factors.
    • Contribute to pricing model calibrations and backtest our pricing algorithms.
    • Collaborate with the team to assess and adapt tools for country-specific pricing requirements.
    • Participate in consulting projects by preparing materials and supporting the rollout of pricing solutions to Allianz units worldwide. Play a role in shaping how Allianz approaches Health insurance pricing on a global scale.

    Requirements

    • Enrollment in a university program with a focus on mathematics, actuarial science, statistics or data science.
    • Solid understanding of actuarial principles, such as risk assessment, tariff calculation or cost modelling.
    • Foundational knowledge of key actuarial methods including (generalized) linear regression modelling.
    • Practical experience in programming languages, ideally with R.
    • Analytical mindset and a structured, problem-solving approach with attention to detail.
    • Progress in actuarial exams (if applicable) or a demonstrated interest in pursuing an actuarial qualification.
    • High degree of self-organization, the ability to work independently, and eagerness to learn from experienced actuaries.
    • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
