    Are you ready to join our mission? In your role as a Working Student in Accounting, you will be responsible for managing the company's payable accounts efficiently and accurately. Your primary duties will involve processing invoices, verifying transactions, reconciling discrepancies, and managing travel expense transactions.

    What will you do: 

    • Review and process employee travel expenses in accordance with company policies. Reconcile travel expenses with supporting documentation and receipts.
    • Code travel expense transactions with appropriate accounts, VAT codes, and cost centers. Communicate with employees regarding any discrepancies or payment inquiries.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable operations. 
    • Handle ad hoc requests as assigned by management.

    You bring: 

    • Currently studying economics with a focus on finance and a strong drive to learn new things.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Passion for analyzing transactions and identifying discrepancies.
    • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in German is a plus.
    • Proficient in MS Office, or G-Suite.
    • Experience with accounting software is a plus.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
