    Your mission as a Client Relations Manager FMCG - DACH (m/f/d)

    Appinio is looking for a highly driven and passionate Client Relations Manager FMCG - DACH to join our team and work closely with the Industry Lead. Act as a trusted advisor to our customers regarding the importance and potential of market research, innovation, and consumer centricity. 

    In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with companies in the FMCG sector, including food, beverages, personal/home care, and retail. You will showcase the potential of Appinio's capabilities and develop a mutually beneficial commercial framework with FMCG stakeholders.

    What you'll be doing

    • Develop and own growth strategy for your categories
    • Represent Appinio to marketing and insights decision-makers within the FMCG industry
    • Acquiring new customers, advising and coaching them on the most relevant Market Research approach, leveraging Appinio's platform and methodologies portfolio
    • Scope and qualify client requirements for both new and existing projects
    • Act as the voice of our FMCG customers, staying attuned to their pain points, competition, and growth prospects
    • Build and maintain a strong network within the FMCG industry
    • Create partnership opportunities with the FMCG industry to further strengthen Appinio's positioning as a research institute
    • Represent Appinio at trade fairs and public speaking events, expand your network, and leverage existing contacts to drive our business
    • Work closely with our Customer Success and Marketing Team to maximize growth opportunities

    You will thrive in this role if you have

    • Experience and an extensive network within the FMCG industry, coupled with a strong customer-centric mindset
    • Experience in B2B sales
    • Experience with market research
    • Excellent proficiency in German and communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)
    • Proficiency in working with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Hubspot
    • An empathetic nature with a keen sense for understanding the needs of others
    • An Entrepreneurial mindset and consider yourself a problem-solver
