    Your mission as a CPG Lead - US

    We're on the cusp of changing an industry forever. We are also combining commercial success with sustainability. This is an opportunity to join a special company at the start of its most exciting chapter.
     
    As we establish our position in the US market, we're looking for experienced insight leaders to lead and own a vertical holistically. The CPG Lead role offers a unique opportunity to own some of Appinio's largest accounts, oversee our most strategic studies, drive and execute Appinio's US GTM, sales, and marketing efforts, and contribute to our US expansion and success. With extensive experience in market research, you will excel at solving clients' most pressing business challenges by creating innovative strategic solutions.
     
    In this role, you'll also play a leading role in shaping Appinio's US strategy and growth. Join us to play a pivotal role in our US expansion and help us thrive in this exciting phase of our journey.

    What you'll be doing

    • Strategically lead key accounts and define innovative insight plans to deliver high-impact consumer research and growth
    • Build and manage a sales pipeline, acquire new clients, identify their needs, and provide expert guidance on Appinio's differentiating services and SaaS solutions.
    • Build and lead a cross-functional team to grow your vertical - always rolling up your sleeves
    • Be a vocal part of the community, shaping and promoting our thought leadership position as we challenge the status quo of the market research industry.
    • Work closely with our GM US to define and execute our growth strategy in the US
    • Represent Appinio at trade shows and public speaking events, expanding your network and leveraging existing contacts to drive our business forward.

    You'll be expected to develop your vertical from start to finish, from working with our marketing team to build a brand, to accelerating the growth of existing clients. You'll play a pivotal role in building on Appinio's position as a European market research leader and establishing it in the US as the most inspiring, innovative and impactful partner in the industry. In short, you'll have the opportunity to make your mark on the insights industry.

    You will thrive in this role if

    • You have 8+ years of experience in market research with a strong existing professional network
    • You have experience designing and selling insights studies, with proficiency in sales methods, lead generation, pipeline building, and customer acquisition in the US market
    • You have an empathetic nature with a keen sense for understanding the needs of others and a strong customer-centric mindset
    • You are a strong leader and feel energized by challenging the status quo. You are a team energizer and you spread happy vibes
