What you will do:
- Act as the go-to expert for HR operations, administrative tasks, as well as for payroll and benefits-related matters
- Take ownership of our payroll preparation in collaboration with internal teams and external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Oversee, manage, and continuously enhance HR administration tasks, including document management, maintaining employee records, updating the HRIS, and streamlining process documentation
- Handling compensation and benefits administration, managing enrollment processes, updates, and employee inquiries while ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Maintain and optimize HR and salary data within our IT systems (e.g., Personio and Figures), keeping workflows, reports, and compliance requirements updated and efficient
- Support audits, reporting, and budgeting processes, specifically related to payroll, compensation, and benefits
- Take part in projects and growth/optimization initiatives due to our growing organization structure and changing demands from the HR side
Who you are:
- You gained extensive experience in operations, administration, or payroll-related HR roles with a proven track record of managing compensation & benefits processes
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices, with a strong understanding of HR operations, payroll processing, tax regulations, and employment laws, in Germany; familiarity with international HR regulations is a plus
- Experienced in managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers such as payroll vendors, benefits administrators, and government officials
- Experienced in onboarding, coaching, and mentoring junior colleagues
- Clear and open communication, fluent in German and English
