    About this role: 

    The Software Architect for Data is a role that helps the data teams reach their goals by providing guidance on the best use of technology for the use case at hand. The Solution Architects are the connectors between the technology vision that we want to reach and the implementation of the individual solutions that will bring us closer to that vision.

    Responsibilities:

    • Make sure that the decisions each data team makes fit into the global data architecture and contribute to the product and technology strategy
    • Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and product stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure that the data architecture supports analytical and operational needs
    • Create PoCs that would solve the upcoming problems of the data department
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the organization's data solutions
    • Mentor and educate the development teams on the latest architectural trends and best practices
    • Assess and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms to meet the organization's data requirements
    • Monitor and optimize the performance of our platform, addressing issues that may affect the efficiency of data operations
    • Assess and manage the costs associated with data storage and processing solutions to optimize resource allocation


    Your Profile: 

    • Proven experience in designing, delivering, and operating scalable Big Data solutions within major Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and frameworks
    • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT workflows for processing large volumes of data in distributed environments
    • Expertise in relational and non-relational databases and writing optimized queries using SQL and NoSQL query languages
    • Enthusiastic and passionate about applying Agile methodologies to design, develop, and optimize data-driven products
    • Understanding of basic business concepts, with the ability to connect technology solutions to business performance improvements
    • Ability to distill complex technical concepts and present them in a clear, concise manner for diverse audiences, ranging from technical teams to executive stakeholders
    • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to both large and small audiences
    • Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams, with the ability to lead initiatives and mentor team members in data architecture best practices
