Senior AI Engineer Computer Vision specialising in object detection and classification

What We Do: We are developing solutions that enable computers and sensors to collaborate as teams, working together to address emerging security challenges. Our primary mission is to defend against AI-powered asymmetric threats at scale, such as drone swarms and other UXVs.

Tasks

• You develop and improve algorithms and ML-models for the detection and classification of flying objects in visual data
• You evaluate and select machine learning model architectures for the given task trading off between performance and runtime
• You continuously improve the performance of our ML-models by training the models with improved hyperparameters and extended datasets
• You keep track of the current scientific publications in the field of object detection and classification
• You ensure a consistently very high quality of our ML models by supervising the whole AI-engineering team

Requirements

Must have

• University degree in engineering or science
• 5+ years experience in practical software development
• Experience Visual Object Detection & Classification
• Solid knowledge in Python and/or C++
• Experience in ROS2, Linux
• Experience in Deployment on Edge-Devices (eg. Nvidia Jetson)
• Experience with autonomous / highly automated systems / robotics
