Fullstack Engineer (all genders)

We are looking for Fullstack Engineers to join our office in Berlin!

You will:

• Deliver value iteratively by building and maintaining high-quality apps, services, and tools
• Design and iterate on our software architecture
• Help shape our coding guidelines and quality standards
• Focus on continuous learning and improvement and drive the evolution of our engineering practices
• Participate in and potentially lead knowledge-sharing sessions - we are a learning company inside and out

You have:

• Experience building, maintaining and evolving scalable, resilient backend services in Typescript, JavaScript, Golang, Ruby and/or Python
• 3+ years of experience building scalable systems and applications
• Experience with component-based web frontend frameworks and good understanding of Reactjs
• Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures (e.g. AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS cloudwatch)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, AWS DynamoDB)
• Strong skills in API design, data modeling, and applying design patterns to improve code
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, ideally with Terraform
• Good understanding of lean and agile practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of analyzing metrics about system health and performance (CloudWatch, PagerDuty, Rollbar)
• Experience in a big organization(s) and startup environment
