We are looking for an experienced addition to our growing teams in Berlin. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be primarily responsible for the development, implementation and performance of our e-commerce platform (Shopify), including integrated apps and interfaces.

At BARFER'S, we produce dog and cat food in the Barf (organic, species-appropriate raw food) category in Germany. The more than 280 products produced in Berlin are sold via our online shop and a total of seven of our own stores in Berlin, Potsdam and Hamburg. Why did we found BARFER'S?

Tasks

You will extend, maintain and improve the e-commerce platform, working on both the frontend and backend.
You will support the automation of business processes through services and partner API integrations.
You will improve the UI/UX experience.
You take responsibility for the architecture and implementation of current and future applications.
Work in an agile environment and embody a ‘we can do it’ mentality.

Requirements

5+ years of web software development experience with a strong grasp of the full web development lifecycle, design patterns, and best practices.
Proficient in JavaScript, PHP (or Python/Go), HTML, and CSS.
Strong experience with a JavaScript framework (Vue.js, React, etc.).
Experience in building Shopify apps and theme extensions.
Excellent knowledge of CI/CD infrastructure and frontend tooling like Webpack/Gulp.
Skilled in consuming and building APIs (GraphQL, REST).
Cloud experience (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
