As an Engineering Manager at Billie, you will:
Lead and Inspire: Build, mentor, and support a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Drive Technical Excellence: Advocate for and implement best practices like Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architecture to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
Empower Your Team: Create an environment where your team can self-organize and operate independently while you provide guidance and clarity on goals and expectations.
Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with product managers, Staff Engineers, and other stakeholders to define priorities and deliver business-critical solutions.
Stay Hands-On: While your primary focus is management, you'll dive into technical details when needed, ensuring your team has the support to tackle challenges effectively.
Deliver Results: Maintain a focus on outcomes, ensuring projects deliver meaningful business value and make smart use of resources.

Have a Strong Engineering Background: Proven experience in software development with deep technical expertise in areas like microservices, Domain-Driven Design, or event-driven architecture.
