    In this pivotal role, you will drive the delicate balance between maximizing conversion rates and minimizing financial losses, ensuring a seamless and secure payment experience for our customers.

    We're seeking a results-driven, strategic thinker who thrives in making complex trade-off decisions within a dynamic, multi-sided business ecosystem. Your expertise will empower Billie to gather and leverage reliable data, enabling accurate risk assessments, reducing fraud, and keeping buyer friction to a minimum—all while driving innovation in payment risk management.

    What will you do:

    • Own the product domain's vision, strategy and roadmap and drive their execution.
    • Ensure your cross-functional team of engineers and data scientists solves the most relevant payment risk-related problems for customers and the business. 
    • Drive the continuous and iterative execution of product discovery, solution design and delivery.
    • Generate and share insights from analyzing customer behaviour and risk performance data.
    • Define and validate hypotheses on improving Billie's risk solutions, both for Billie's risk platform as a whole and in the context of individual merchants and markets.
    • Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Commercial and other significant business stakeholders and segments across Billie.
    • Work with other product teams to understand problems holistically and develop solutions that support Billie's goals and strategy.

    Who we are looking for:

    • 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role (ideally within a FinTech, Finance or B2B organization).
    • Strong professional background in real-time fraud prevention and detection or risk management for e-commerce
    • Proven track record of development, and operations of successful AI & ML-powered products
    • Obsession for optimizing the customer experience.
    • Strong execution skills and a role model for cross-team collaboration.. 
    • Excellent analytical skills (including proficiency in SQL), and you can make informed business decisions based on these insights.
    • A strong communicator who loves to champion the user's perspective in discussions with teams and stakeholders and is eager to share and present the problems, solutions and outcomes with the wider company.
