    The Role

    We're seeking a hands-on IT Support Engineer to join our Digital Workplace team at our Berlin headquarters. In this role, you'll be the friendly face of IT for our 130+ employees, ensuring they have the technology support they need to do their best work.

    What You'll Do

    • Provide exceptional first-line technical support for our team members, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
    • Manage the full lifecycle of employee technology - from setting up equipment for new hires to securely offboarding departing team members
    • Own our ticketing system, ensuring prompt resolution of IT issues (we maintain a 95% same-day resolution rate)
    • Collaborate with our IT vendors and partners to maintain our digital infrastructure
    • Administer and optimize our core platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, JAMF, and Atlassian suite
    • Maintain detailed documentation of our IT processes and solutions
    • Participate in weekly sprints and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
    • Manage and track our IT inventory, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently
    • Contribute to IT projects that enhance our digital workplace capabilities

    About You

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in an IT Support or similar technical role
    • Proven experience with Mac environment administration and troubleshooting
    • Working knowledge of identity management systems (Okta or similar)
    • Experience with device management platforms (JAMF or similar)
    • Strong skills with collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Confluence)
    • Excellent problem-solving ability with a methodical approach to troubleshooting
    • Outstanding communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
    • Customer-service mindset with a genuine desire to help others

    Nice-to-Have Skills

    • Experience with Unify WiFi Management systems
    • German language skills
    • Knowledge of automation tools and basic scripting
    • Experience in fintech or startup environments
    • Familiarity with IT security best practices
    • ITIL knowledge or certification
