Occupational Health & Safety Specialist, SiFa job at Bolt Technology in Berlin

Bolt is seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) SiFa certified professional to lead the implementation of Bolt's Integrated Management System within our German and Switzerland operations, based in Berlin.

About the role

Bolt is a fast-paced and exciting organisation and the role will be based within our Risk team, with the opportunity to make an impact to the organisation and be involved in many exciting projects (DE, CH specific, as well as global). The Bolt products available in Germany include ride-hailing, carsharing, micromobility (e-scooters/e-bikes) and Bolt Food, and in Switzerland ride-hailing and micromobility (e-scooters/e-bikes).

Main Tasks and Responsabilities:

Overseeing incidents and crisis events entered into Bolt's incident management system and assisting with reporting, investigation and corrective actions.
Acting as the primary H&S contact for employees, management and authorities, and conducting audits, identifying improvement actions and ensuring standardisation across operations.
Preparing task-specific OHS procedures for workers and disseminating them, while ensuring legal and internal compliance.
Preparing OHS training for employees, maintaining a training register and ensuring regular re-training obligations are met.
Project managing delivery of assigned country specific and global tasks within Bolt's Risk and Safety strategy, including tracking and reporting on project progress.
Supporting additional specific countries with implementation and internal compliance of H&S topics.

About you:

You have a valid German Sicherheitsfachkraft (SiFa) qualification.
You have a qualification as a Brandschutzbeauftragter or are willing to acquire one.
You have strong communicating and influencing ability.
You have demonstrated understanding and application of German OHS legislation.
You have a professional level fluency in English and German languages.
Your SiFa qualification is valid in Switzerland as well or you are open to submitting an application for recognition (not a mandatory requirement).
