We're looking for an analytical and solution-driven Operations Specialist to support our Micromobility team in Hamburg. In this dynamic and hands-on role, you'll manage Bolt's e-scooter/e-bike operations and drive business growth and profitability while ensuring our users have a great experience.

As an Operations Specialist, you'll plan and manage all operations of one or more cities and be the first point of contact for any issues. You'll closely monitor KPIs to meet our operating standards, optimise operational efficiency and costs, and ensure that e-scooters/e-bikes are deployed to high-demand areas.
In addition, you'll be responsible for hiring and managing a team of Fleet Operations Drivers and ensuring their work is efficiently organised, providing them with training and guidance, and supporting their development.
You'll work closely with the local Maintenance team, Operations Manager, and HQ teams, including Customer Support, Central Operations, Legal and Marketing, to address any issues related to operations or products.
Recruiting, training, and managing the Fleet Operations Team responsible for deploying our e-scooters/e-bikes, changing their batteries, and rebalancing the fleet. Managing the fleet, prioritising and delegating assignments effectively, analysing and monitoring city metrics, reporting them to relevant stakeholders, and identifying local trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Streamlining operations by creating and optimising standardised processes to increase efficiency and resolve operational challenges. Taking action based on customer feedback, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance customer satisfaction. Supporting the development of effective strategies to enhance our fleet's value proposition and improve performance and retention. Ensuring compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations and keeping relevant stakeholders informed of any changes or updates to avoid potential risks.
You ideally have experience in Operations, Logistics, or a related field and previous experience coordinating a team (not mandatory).
You're fluent in English and German, a great collaborator, and you can easily network with people of various backgrounds. You possess good analytical skills and experience working with software like Excel or Google Sheets. You're interested in shared mobility and new technologies, and you drive efficiency by improving and standardising processes. You're a detail-oriented problem solver who takes responsibility for your work but can delegate tasks.
You can work independently and possess strong prioritisation and time management skills. You are willing to work on-site from our office/warehouse (based in Hamburg) from Monday to Friday.
