Test & QA-Engineer (m/f/d)

Our client is a leading provider of system solutions for online marketing of vacation rentals. Since our company was founded in 1999, it has made a name for itself with efficient and practical solutions and has already received several awards for its work. Our goal is to help rental agencies, destinations and hosts worldwide to achieve seamless bookings through simple processes. Our team consists of over 60 dedicated employees who work in a dynamic environment to further develop our services.

Tasks

• Planning and execution of automated and manual tests for various software products and applications.
• Developing and implementing automated test scripts and test cases to efficiently cover functional and non-functional requirements and integrating them into our CI pipeline.
• Identify, document, track and assist in the resolution of software bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with development teams and Product Owners to develop and optimize test strategies.
• Continuously improve testing processes and procedures by introducing new tools, methodologies and best practices.
• Supporting the creation of test reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in the role of Test & QA Engineer with a focus on automated and manual testing and quality control, preferably in the area of web applications (PHP, JS) and APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Profound knowledge in the development and implementation of automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, PHPUnit, Cypress).
• Basic knowledge of programming and languages such as PHP and Javascript.
  Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and test automation tools. Gitlab knowledge is an advantage.
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to understand and analyze complex technical problems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of English and German (at least B1 each).
