In detail you will: 

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Developers and Data Engineers to understand, design and improve data platform capabilities
• Build and optimize robust, scalable data pipelines, ETL and ELT processes
• Architect, build and optimize cloud data platform foundation
• Integrate and manage diverse data sources
• Mentor and lead junior engineers
• Lead design and implementation of best practices

• 5 - 10 years of experience as a Data Platform Engineer, Data or Analytics Engineer
• 1-2 years of hands-on production grade Snowflake experience including architecture design, query and cost monitoring and optimization
• 2+ years of hands-on production grade dbt experience including implementation of different types of data models and end-to-end data quality checks
• Strong experience with Azure or a different cloud provider
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with multiple data architecture paradigms 
• Good communication skills 

• Proficiency in Apache Kafka and Apache Flink
• Understanding of DevOps: running applications in Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code using terraform, cloud security principles, CI/CD
