The Cardano Foundation Community Team is looking for a Developer Community Advocate with expertise in distributed ledger technology, developer tools and community management. We are seeking a Cardano enthusiast who deeply understands Cardano concepts. The ideal candidate has several years of experience with Cardano components as well as with the passionate, engaged, innovative and diverse Cardano Community.
You will be having the following responsibilities:
Understand the needs and challenges of developers and translate them into feedback loops to teams inside the Cardano Foundation as well as to the community projects.
Analyze community engagement and performance metrics to identify trends and insights, and develop strategies and campaigns to grow and engage the technical community.
Provide comprehensive support to current technical community members, understanding their needs and challenges, and develop effective onboarding programs to welcome and integrate new developers.
Advance developer community and relevant open source projects like Cardano Developer Portal.
Develop content, tutorials, and proof-of-concept materials using Docusaurus.
Contribute to the strategic development of the developer community by identifying new opportunities for growth, collaboration, and engagement.
Take ownership of creating and delivering high-quality content that drives developer community growth and engagement.
Collaborate with internal teams and key stakeholders to identify, adapt, and distribute valuable content tailored to the needs and interests of the Cardano developer community.
Your story:
3+ years of experience in a role that required a deep understanding of technology and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Examples of relevant roles include developer relations, community management, technical writing, or product marketing with a technical focus.
Deep understanding of the Cardano community, including its values, structure, motivations, and areas for improvement.
At least one year experience in the use of Cardano components like cardano-node, chain indexer, Cardano Wallets and graphql.
Well-read and passionate about distributed ledger technology, in particular Cardano.
Able to read Cardano documentation and work with Docusaurus.
Able to write content, tutorials and proof of concepts.
Ability to understand how users will interact with protocols and tools.
Comprehensive Git skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. Fluency in additional languages is a plus, demonstrating your ability to connect with a diverse international community.
