We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Blockchain, Kubernetes, and AWS to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with developers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient development and deployment processes, high availability, and seamless operation of our applications and services. This role is ideal for you, if you are an engineer passionate about automation, scalability, and enabling rapid development through modern DevOps practices. You will have the following key responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS (using EKS or self-managed setups), architecting and implementing scalable and cost-efficient solutions
CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automating application deployment processes for maximum efficiency and reliability. Package software in reproducible and auditable ways
Monitoring and Logging: Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions, proactively troubleshooting issues and ensuring system health
Security and Compliance: Enforce security best practices (including secrets management) implement access controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Implement automated vulnerability scanning and remediation workflows
Automation and Scripting: Write and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform/Terragrunt, Ansible, CloudFormation or Pulumi and automate tasks to improve operational efficiency using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, QA and security teams to build cloud-native applications, integrate testing and compliance checks into deployment pipelines
Technical Expertise:
Solid understanding of web protocols
Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and git-ops best practices
Familiarity with github-actions
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., docker, lxc, cgroups)
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible
Strong experience with Kubernetes, including deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications
Familiarity with helm charts development
Proficiency in AWS services such as: IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, SSM, KMS, ALB, ElastiCache, Lambda, R53, CloudFront, etc.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
Proven experience in managing production environments with Kubernetes and AWS
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: knowledge of logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry and AWS CloudWatch
Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and network configurations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience maintaining blockchain nodes. Familiarity with block producing ones is a plus
Experience with service meshes like Istio, Ambassador or Linkerd
Knowledge of event-based and serverless architectures, hosted and self-hosted
Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
Familiarity with secrets management best practices and tooling (e.g., vault)
Familiarity with tooling such as: argocd/flux/tekton, Terragrunt, Podman, Earthly, Keycloak, (ha) postgres
More traditional HTTP/proxy servers (apache/nginx)
Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) and Kubernetes (e.g., CKA, CKAD)
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and efficiency
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across teams
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and evolving requirements
A proactive attitude toward learning and implementing new technologies
System Reliability and Scalability: You will ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of our decentralized identity systems, enabling them to handle growing user demand and evolving needs.
Security and Compliance: You will implement robust security measures and compliance standards, safeguarding user data and maintaining the integrity of our identity solutions.
Development Velocity: You will streamline and automate development and deployment processes, empowering developers to deliver high-quality solutions quickly and efficiently.
