Your responsibilities
We’re looking for a talented Python Developer (Authorization) (F/M/D) with a passion for building robust APIs to join our innovative and diverse team. In this position you will work closely with Identity Access Management (IAM), in the context of identity provisioning, identity federation, authentication, and authorization.
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to develop and maintain Python-based codebase, web applications and REST APIs, with a focus on IAM, and third-party service integration
- Write efficient, readable, and maintainable Python code, embracing challenging tasks that extend beyond conventional Python development
- Utilize linters and other code quality tools to maintain high standards of code organization and cleanliness
- Contribute to code reviews by providing and addressing feedback to ensure high-quality and secure software solutions
- Understand and utilize third-party documentation to effectively integrate various services
- Apply an agile mindset and a solution-driven approach to problem-solving
Your profile
- 3-5 years of Python experience, with foundational knowledge and experience in web development
- Experience with IAM, in particular OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect protocols. Experience with SAML would be an asset.
- Experience in developing and maintaining REST APIs within a microservice architecture
- Familiarity with Python web frameworks, particularly FastAPI
- Proficiency in using Python unit tests and linters to ensure code quality
- Good understanding of scalability and performance in web application development
- Commitment to writing legible and well-structured code, adhering to design patterns and best practices
- Agile-minded, with a proactive approach to delivering effective solutions
