Senior Traffic Manager (m/f/d)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Traffic Manager (m/f/d) to join our Creative Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the capacity planning and traffic management of our in-house Creative Team from start to finish, ensuring prioritization of projects, capacity planning of the copywriters/graphic designers/web developers, and on-time delivery. Location: Berlin or Hamburg

Direct reporting line to the Director of Creative Operations. 

As the Senior Traffic Manager in Creative Operations, your responsibilities will include:  

• Leading and overseeing the Jira ticketing system of the in-house creative team ensuring prioritization (according to weighting framework), planning and forecasting the team's capacity, and timely delivery. 

• Continually improving operational traffic management processes and capacity planning practices to improve performance and manage resources to achieve optimal efficiency. 

• Serving as the primary point of contact for our in-house Project Management team, managing expectations through effective communication. 

• Contributing to and collaborating within the Creative Operations Leadership team to ensure high-performance and continual effeciency gains of three interdependent teams: Project Management, Content Creation and Web Development. 

We would like you to have: 

• Successfully completed studies, preferably Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or equivalent qualifications. 

• Experience (2 to 3+ years) in traffic management, preferably in fast-moving creative agencies or in-house creative teams in large corporations. This is essential. 

• Proven track record in traffic management of ticketing within a service department via Jira or similar. This is a must. 

• Professional project management certification (Prince2, IPMA, or equivalent) is a plus. 

• Excellent English spoken and written communication skills (and preferably another language) is a must, with proficiency in Jira, Microsoft Office and project management tools (MS Project). 

• A strategic and agile mindset with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and intercultural competence.
