Role overview

As a Product Intern, you’ll work closely with our Product and Engineering team to support the development and improvement of CleanHub’s Impact Platform and Track and Trace system. You’ll gain hands-on experience in product management, user research, and agile development processes while contributing to a product that has a real-world impact on the environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is curious about product management, passionate about sustainability, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Product Manager in defining and prioritizing product features based on user needs and business goals.
Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and feedback.
Help create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, wireframes, and product requirements.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth development and delivery of product features.
Analyze product performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Support the team in managing the product backlog and sprint planning.

What we're looking for

This is an initial 6 month internship with the possibility of extension.
This is a remote-first role for anyone based in Europe, if you'd like to move to Berlin to work with the team in person we'd love to have you.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a University degree. Business, Computer Science, Design, Sustainability or related fields, is a plus.
Strong interest in product management, technology, and protecting our oceans from plastic waste.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw insights.
Basic understanding of agile methodologies and product development processes.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Figma, or similar is a plus.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
