In the Software Development team, we develop web applications (UI and API) powered by a workflow engine for processing data from space. A QA Engineer goes through the customer journey from both perspectives – user stories and internal processes, supporting the team in the development of functional tests, smooth deployments, localization of bugs, and reporting the state of applications to corresponding teams.
The Role
- Develop and maintain automated tests for software applications using Selenium and Python (Pytest).
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure test coverage and accuracy.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions.
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation for automated tests and processes in SharePoint following the ECSS standard (European Cooperation for Space Standardization).
- Contribute to the improvement of testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging testing technologies.
Location – Our software team is remotely based across Germany & Belgium with travel and meet-ups at our offices (Freiburg, Munich, Brussels) when required. We offer remote working for this position from anywhere in Germany.
