Senior SAP Supply Chain Architect

About the Role:

Are you ready to shape the future of production planning and supply chain management? We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Architect to join the team and lead transformative projects onsite in Germany. This role is perfect for someone with a deep understanding of SAP APO and a passion for optimising manufacturing processes.

Tasks

Location: Germany (Lüchow and Mühlheim) | 50%-75% Onsite

Experience Level: Senior (10+ years)

Key Responsibilities:

- Blueprint & Architecture Review: Analyse existing templates, blueprints, and architecture, comparing them with industry best practices.

- Onsite Collaboration: Work closely with factory managers to understand and enhance production planning, purchasing, scheduling, and manufacturing processes.

- SAP Expertise: Leverage your strong knowledge of SAP APO and assess the feasibility of implementing SAP IBP for integrated business planning.

- Best Practice Implementation: Propose and demonstrate SAP IBP modules, advocating for industry-leading solutions in production planning, capacity planning, and scheduling.

- Solution Design: Conduct workshops, identify FIT/GAPs, and derive design principles for proposed solutions, ensuring seamless integration with legacy systems.

- Decision Making: Deliver comprehensive decision papers on solution design, including evaluation and recommendations for production planning and other critical processes.

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years in supply chain architecture, with a strong focus on production planning.
• SAP Knowledge: Extensive experience with SAP APO; familiarity with SAP IBP is a strong advantage.
• Language Skills: Fluent German is essential for this role.
• Travel: Willingness to be onsite in Germany 50%-75% of the time.
