Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Product Manager to join our Market Intelligence team in the heart of Berlin. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining and executing our marketplace data strategy, driving the development of the data-centric features that enables intelligent supply-demand matching and operational efficiency.

You will work closely with data engineers, backend engineers, business intelligence, and business stakeholders from sales, procurement, and logistics.

Task

• Drive the end-to-end product development process: from crafting product requirements to executing our product roadmap and delivering solutions to the market swiftly.
• Focus on the business outcome by translating company goals into domain KPIs and analyzing feature-level metrics to derive targets for the next areas of improvement.
• Gather and analyze business feedback, market trends, and competitive landscape to continuously refine market intelligence product strategy and roadmap in alignment with the company's goals.
• Build strong partnerships and collaboration with business stakeholders (sales, procurement, logistics) to prioritize and iterate data products at a fast pace. Communicate decisions and business results to the rest of the company.
• Leverage data collection to build data models and set the market standard for AI-powered marketplace.
• Coordinate the engineering and data science teams to ensure on-time and high-quality product delivery; continuously improve ways of working (agile ceremonies, best practices) and ensure that data collection and processing standards are followed.

Requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager with 2+ years in data products.
• Proficient in leading agile project development cycles with discipline
• Strong understanding of data technologies, including data platforms, analytics, and machine learning.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in instrumentation and visualization tools.
• Strong problem-framing, problem-solving, and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A track record of delivering business value.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

Plus at least one of these

• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience in personalization and/or recommendation systems.
• Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Proficiency in Databricks is a big plus.
