Aufgaben

• Ensuring appropriate and efficient accounting processes in all sub-ledgers of the Group.
• Ensuring global tax compliance in close co-ordination with our Group Tax Manager and our local tax advisors.
• Coordinate the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements together with the team.
• Active involvement in the Senior Finance Team activities, a.o. discuss and develop the Finance strategy and drive the relevant initiatives of the Finance Roadmap.
• Be the main contact person for our auditors.
• Coordination of tasks related to tax audits.
• Cash Management, organization of the regular payment run and administration of bank accounts (set-up, accesses, authorizations, etc.).

Qualifikation

• Professional qualification as a CPA, tax advisor, or similar certification is advantageous.
• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• First experience in leading accounting teams and in international accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of national and international accounting standards (IFRS, German GAAP).
• Experience with German and international tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and conducting tax audits.
• Knowledge of cash management organization and bank account management.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Focused on process management, including the ability to streamline and optimize accounting and tax processes.
• Confident and proficient in using ERP systems, with no hesitation in navigating and utilizing their accounting modules.
• Effective communication skills with various stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities.
• Detail-oriented with high problem-solving skills.
• High self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus.
