Your role and your tasks:
As our Backend Developer (m/f/x), you will be a key contributor to bring our market-leading content platform to the next level for world-class retailers like MediaMarkt, Otto, and Fnac - and brands like Microsoft, Logitech, and Bosch.
You will drive the change towards a cloud-based IT landscape, developing cloud-native software in a microservices-oriented architecture on AWS.
You will be planning and implementing AWS Lambda functions, containerized applications (ECS, K8s), asynchronous communication (SNS/SQS), REST APIs, and setting up monitoring and alerting of our critical infrastructure.
You will closely collaborate with the frontend and backend team to create a unified and well-documented ecosystem.
You will design and implement new features and products that our customers love.
You work directly with your team & our CTO to improve and develop core functionality that empowers more than 100 million requests a day!
You foster team communication and ensure code quality by implementing automated integration and end-to-end tests as well as fostering high-quality documentation of our system components.
