About the role:Be a passionate, hands-on Team Lead and responsible for mentoring around 6 engineersAbility to create an impact on the design and development of DT productsWorking closely with the product team and building a roadmap for the delivery of customer featuresLeading by example and becoming a pillar of excellence for your team and the companyProvide professional support to the tech teamPlan and manage the day-to-day work of the team including task allocation, scrum ceremonies, delivery planning, capacity and workload balancingWork with relevant stakeholders related to the teams’ deliveryCollaborate with other technical teams to allow smooth delivery of the roadmapPerform Hands on work where needed including code creation, code review, documentation etc. About you:Over 1-3 years of people management (1on1, performance review, hiring, etc..)Over 5 Years of software development with a high-performance backend language (Very familiar with C++. Learning Ruby will also be a requirement if not familiar yet). Over 3 years of experience managing scrum ceremonies (standup, sprint review, sprint planning, retrospective) and building delivery plansGood experience with cloud-based providers (AWS, GCP)First-hand experience in designing and writing elastic, highly concurrent, scalable, cloud-based systemsHigh standards for code quality, production stability, deployment process, performance, and testingExperience in working with Docker and Kubernetes is an advantageExperience in working with Spark is an advantageFamiliarity with frontend frameworks (Angular) is an advantageA Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
