Head of IT (Linux & Sharepoint) (M/F/D)

We are seeking a Head of IT – Linux & SharePoint (M/F/D) for our client, SOFHA, a Berlin-based software company with over 40 years of expertise in high-performance image processing for the professional printing industry.

SOFHA Work with leading printer manufacturers, especially in Japan, to create smart print workflow solutions using industry standards like Adobe PostScript®, Adobe PDF Print Engine®, and JDF/JMF. The software runs on Linux, and the design user interfaces for Windows, macOS, and web applications. With a team of around 50 international professionals, they offer a collaborative culture, flexible work arrangements, and continuous learning opportunities.

Tasks

Maintain and update Linux file servers.
Oversee mail servers and manage user accounts and groups.
Administer SharePoint sites, including access control.
Manage access levels and maintain proper documentation.
Ensure data security and integrity.
Deploy security updates regularly.
Maintain and monitor server hardware.
Oversee backup management and synchronization.
Document and update network infrastructure.
Conduct vulnerability assessments.
Create and maintain an internal FAQ for the company Wiki.
Manage and configure the internal Jira server, guiding the transition to Jira Cloud services.

Requirements

✅ Excellent English skills.
✅ Expert-level knowledge of Linux systems.
✅ Strong proficiency in Jira.
✅ Deep expertise in network components, network protocols, and client-server systems.
✅ Reliable team player with strong and precise communication skills.

📍 On site work with an office in the heart of Berlin.
