    Tasks

    As Head of Stack Development (m/f/d) at CMBlu, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of our innovative energy storage technologies. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a highly skilled team that works closely with other departments to continuously improve the performance and efficiency of our stacks. Your tasks will include overseeing the design process, ensuring the quality and longevity of the products and supporting the production teams. You will translate company goals into specific tasks and ensure that all project milestones are achieved on time.

    You can expect exciting and responsible tasks with room for maneuver:

    • Lead the stack development team by fostering high productivity and helping team members maintain a positive and engaged attitude
    • Translating business objectives into specific tasks for the stack team and aligning efforts with these objectives
    • Overseeing the design process, ensuring that all technical and commercial requirements are met in the design and production process of the stack
    • Interdisciplinary collaboration with the electrodes, membranes and hydraulics teams to optimise the performance of the stack
    • Continuous improvement of the performance, durability and cost efficiency of the stack
    • Developing and refining the design, materials used and processes for the stack frame and stack hydraulics
    • Quality assurance and ensuring the longevity of the stack and ensuring the overall quality of the work results
    • Supporting the production and quality assurance team in the implementation of processes in the production line
    • Ensuring that all project milestones are achieved within the set deadlines
    • Maintaining thorough documentation of the stack development process and producing regular reports

    Requirements

    • At least 3 years of experience in a management position in an industrial environment
    • Sound experience with batteries, especially flow batteries or stacks
    • Technical knowledge of electrochemistry or fluid dynamics
    • Experience with plastics/polymers or catalysts is an advantage
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
    • Very good written and spoken English, German language skills are an advantage
    • Confident in using common Office applications
