Our client, Atelier Garden is a six-acre 110-year-old film campus which has undergone a substantial refurbishment over the past eight years, enacting a transformation into a completely new type of campus dedicated to global impact work alongside film and media operations. The campus stretches across 5 active film studios alongside multiple mixed-use spaces, providing a flexible mix of workspace, light-industrial and event activities for a new community of impact-led organisations and commercial customers.

Tasks

The Managin Director will work with the Supervisory Board to build and develop the Atelier Garden campus, franchise, business revenues and profitability. They will be expected to develop a viable business strategy, three-year outlook, and operational budget to achieve an agreed targeted return on investment. The MD will achieve budget/target goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different ideas and exploring opportunities to add value, and will provide effective, interactive, and participatory leadership to the department heads they are directly responsible for in the Event/Studio, Property Management, Workspace, and Community teams.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 - 10 years’ experience in a similar role in sectors such as (but not limited) to real estate,hospitality and events, ideally in Berlin
Broad experience with exposure to investment, business planning, reporting to stakeholders, revenue generation from spaces, management of direct reports and building company culture
Data driven with fincial mindset with excellent MS Office skills
Ability to work in an open, entrepreneurial environment with the ability to present recommendations clearly and succinctly
Fluency in English and German
