Our client, CMBlu Energy AG, has pioneered the field of flow batteries based on organic/carbon electrolytes. Thier technology aims to be the choice for safe, sustainable, utility-scale energy storage. With their Organic SolidFlow batteries, they are the world's leading company in the development of large electrochemical energy storage systems, advancing this key technology for the energy transition.

For CMBlu, we are seeking a skilled Product Manager (m/f/d) for energy storage, responsible for developing and marketing Cmblu's technology and analyzing the market and potential competitors.

Tasks

• Strategic planning and development of product strategies and roadmaps for the organic solid flow batteries in accordance with the business plan and market requirements
• Definition of product requirements and creation of product concepts
• Analysis of customer and partner requirements as well as trends in the energy sector
• Monitoring the operational performance of the development teams and ensuring efficient and profitable project implementation
• Budgeting and resource planning as well as time and milestone management
• Performance monitoring and regular reporting to the board
• Close collaboration and coordination with the areas of R&D, testing, purchasing, production and sales

Requirements

• Successful university degree (preferably engineering)
• At least 7 years of professional experience in a responsible position in product management, ideally in the energy industry or in plant engineering
• Proven track record in business development, product management and/or project management
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams with multiple interfaces and successfully implementing product strategies
• In-depth understanding of the energy sector or battery development is desirable
• Fluent written and spoken English skills. German is a plus
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
