Quality Control Manager (m/f/d) @ ELVE SA

Headquartered in Kavala, northern Greece, ELVE specializes in the trade of uniforms, workwear, and personal protective equipment (PPE), catering to key leading institutions like Deutsche Bahn AG, European oil and electricity companies, the Louvre Museum, and the Greek and German armies and police forces.

As ELVE continues to expand, they are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Manager to ensure the highest standards of production across their textile manufacturing sites, primarily in Asia.

This role requires frequent visits to our production sites in Asia, where you will oversee the entire textile production process. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the production aligns with our technical specifications and quality standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the high-quality standards our clients expect.

Aufgaben

• Regular visits to textile production sites across Asia to oversee and monitor the manufacturing process.
• Ensure that the production aligns with the technical specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and address any potential production issues, working closely with factory teams to resolve them.
• Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet the required quality criteria.
• Collaborate with the design, buyer, and sales teams to communicate any quality concerns and suggest improvements.
• Provide detailed reports on production progress, quality control measures, and any issues encountered.
• Ensure that all products meet the required certifications and standards before shipment.
• Foster strong working relationships with production site teams to ensure ongoing quality improvements.

Qualifikation

• In-depth understanding of textile production processes and industry standards.
• Experience in quality control, particularly in the textile industry, is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications and apply them effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
• Ability to travel frequently to production sites in Asia.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
