(Senior) Frontend Engineer (m/f/x) (React)

As a Senior Frontend Engineer (m/f/x) at DR SMILE, your primary responsibility will be the development and enhancement of our various customer-facing web applications, focusing mainly on the purchasing experience. Your role will be central to creating a seamless and engaging user experience.

• You will develop and enhance our customer-facing web applications, focusing on creating engaging, user-friendly, and high-performing applications using React.
• You will engage in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with design, backend, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality across our digital platforms.
• You will drive innovation and adhere to best practices by staying ahead of the curve with the latest frontend technologies and trends, continually improving our web applications.
• You will focus on metrics and A/B testing by collecting and analyzing metrics, and running A/B tests for different features to optimize performance and user experience, utilizing tools such as Google Analytics (GA) and Optimizely.

• You have extensive experience in React with a focus on building high-quality, app-like experiences and a strong focus on user experience and performance optimization.
• You have preferred experience with Gatsby.js, migrating applications to Next.js, and experience with Contentful or similar content management solutions.
• You are experienced in developing internationalized applications and transferring pixel-perfect designs to applications with the same level of accuracy.
• You have experience in setting up CI/CD infrastructure, which is considered a big plus.
• You are familiar with React Native for mobile application development and Java-based backend development, both of which are nice to have.
• You are fluent in English on a professional level.
