Senior Ecosystem / Business Development Lead (Europe) (m/w/d)

The role and a bit about us

We’re looking for a Senior Ecosystem / Business Development Lead (Europe) to scale the peaq ecosystem to the next level. You will be responsible for facilitating, closing and operating strategic partnerships, identifying high quality projects in the wide scope of DePIN and the machine economy and bringing them to and onboard them in the peaq ecosystem. You will also be responsible for fostering a thriving community of developers and businesses, spearheading the adoption of peaq's technology across various industries and play an important role in the investment and funding process for top tier projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in venture capital, business development and ecosystem management within the blockchain or tech industry.

What you bring to the table

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, venture capital, growth investment, or ecosystem management, preferably in the blockchain or tech industry.
• Strong network of contacts within the tech and blockchain communities in the EMEA region.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Strong due diligence skills and analytical thinking.
• Ability to create efficient and usable valuation frameworks.
• Deep understanding and passion for decentralized technologies, blockchain, and the Economy of Things.
• Willingness to travel within the EMEA region as needed.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

Things you will do

• Identify, develop, and manage high-impact relationships with key stakeholders, including enterprises, startups, consortia, and developers.
• Lead the adoption of peaq’s blockchain technology in Europe by targeting industries such as smart mobility, energy, and connectivity.
• Cultivate and grow a vibrant ecosystem by engaging with and supporting the developer community, organizing events, and facilitating collaboration.
• Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new dApps and DePINs built on peaq.
• Represent peaq at industry events, conferences, and in the media to advocate for the Economy of Things and decentralized technologies.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and engineering, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
