    Tasks

    • Provide strategic vision and leadership for all technology-related aspects of the company. Collaborate with the management team to align technology initiatives with business goals.
    • Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle of our technical products, from hands-on architecture design and coding to quality assurance, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. As an early-stage startup, this role requires a highly involved, practical approach to building and scaling our technology from the ground up.
    • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven models, including patient phenotyping and recommendation engines, to deliver tailored health insights. Ensure scalable data architectures for seamless real-time data integration and analysis.
    • Lead and mentor a growing team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance within an asynchronous working environment.
    • As the company continues to grow, your responsibility will include expanding the engineering team by assessing candidates and making the final hiring decisions to drive the company's technological vision forward.
    • As part of the leadership team, you collaborate closely with the Co-CEOs and support the CPO in shaping and executing the product roadmap.

    Requirements

    • Experience building and maintaining scalable backend services using RESTful APIs and relational databases (Postgres). Experience with Kotlin is beneficial.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaC tools like Terraform.
    • Proven ability to build and deploy mobile apps using Flutter or similar cross-platform frameworks.
    • Experience with AI tools and technologies, with the ability to evaluate and implement AI-driven solutions to automate data processing, doctor communication, user communication, and other key processes.
    • Experience developing and deploying AI/ML models, including recommendation engines and clustering algorithms, with a focus on healthcare applications.
    • Skilled in data preprocessing and multimodal data integration, ensuring high data quality and model accuracy for clinical applications.
    • Experience in client-side web development.
    • Familiarity with Firebase or other BaaS platforms is a significant advantage.
    • A passion for working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
    • Proven ability and will to lead and inspire technical teams.
