Currently we are recruiting a Director (m/f/d) Life Science Direct Sales EMEA.
Tasks
- Leading a sales team of Sales managers and specialists for direct Sales Continental
- Define annual sales setup and plan for region, sales teams and territory managers as well as customer targeting plan
- Align and execution on annual marketing plan and sales and prospecting activities in all customer segments in accordance with current sales strategy
- Manage pipeline of opportunities for region / territory to accomplish proper order entry forecast
- Coaching and co-travelling to develop hunting and farming skills in sales teams
- Support strategic accounts and solution selling in customer segment 1 and 2
- Coordinate promotional activities within region
- Analyze cross-selling performance and Sales efficiency
- Monitor hunting and farming activities on strategic accounts to strengthen forecast and mid-term growth
- Manage regional CRM utilization and lead sales process for deals within territory
- Monitoring of performance of sales teams: activities, product mix, conversion rates in sale stages, prospecting
- Strong drive of sales growth: weekly review with superior
- Develop strategies within the framework of the central specifications and implement them independently with sales management in your region
Requirements
- University degree preferably in life science
- Several years professional experience in sales in a leadership position
- Good technical comprehension and interest in complex technology
- Strong leadership and European sales experience
- KPI and performance management skills
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce
- Experiences with growth room dashboards and other business tools
- Very good communication and English skills, both written and spoken
- Very good self-organization and motivation
- Valid drivers license
- Solution-oriented thinking and acting
- Distinct entrepreneurial thinking and sound knowledge of business administration
- Flexibility and a high willingness to travel are required and readyness to travel up to 50% internationally
