Tasks

As the Lead Engineer / Head of Engineering, you will be part of both the platform aswell as AI team. You will be responsible for developing the frontend, middleware and backend that allow our customers to access millions of digital twins.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop Fullstack Platform: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our web-based application using TypeScript and React.js.
• Build Petabyte-Scale Backend: Build data pipelines capable of turning Petabytes of customer data into millions of digital twins and closely collaborate with the AI Research team.
• Lead Technical Discussions and Decision-Making: Actively participate in team discussions, providing expert input on technical decisions and strategic directions.
• Mentor and Develop Team Members: Foster a culture of learning and growth, guiding junior developers and helping them tackle challenging projects.

Requirements

Professional Experience:

• At least 8 years of professional experience in fullstack development.
• Preferably a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Fluent in Python, FastAPI, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Proficient in React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Able to design effective RESTful APIs on the first try.
• Experienced in logging, monitoring, CI/CD, and other essential DevOps practices.
• Capable of designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures.
• Bonus: Experienced in setting up AI-related cloud infrastructure, preferably handling data at petabyte scale.

Leadership and Mentoring:

• Ability to effectively mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their growth and technical proficiency.
