The company is looking for a Technical Engineer Customer Support (m/f/d) for its Sales and Marketing Department to work with customers in various fields such as aeronautics, space, industry and construction. The position can be performed from the home office.

Tasks

• The position consists of providing comprehensive customer-focused technical support, offering technical expertise on the entire product portfolio, production processes and applications to the customers in Europe.
• The main objective will be to provide technical support on products, develop technical relationships and create growth opportunities to support the business through effective communication with all the European customers.
• You act as a link between technology, sales, marketing and customers and participate in an advisory role to promote current and future sales of the materials, including the development of technical support partnerships with customers and markets for which the products are intended.
• Your other tasks will include managing technical specifications for users and helping to manage product qualifications and the introduction of new products to customers.

Requirements

• Graduation degree in engineering: spe Materials or chemistry or related discipline.
• Several years of experience in the production and application of composite materials; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of advanced materials, carbon fibers, matrices (thermoplastics or thermosets as well as new bio-based or environmentally friendly matrices) and processing applications and processes (fabrics, prepregs, automation: filament winding, automatic fiber placement, RTM, RIM, SMC, ...).
• Good communication and organisational skills, willingness to travel within Europe.
