WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Play a key role to post journals and reconcile bank statements
Be responsible for the control and reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts
Work in cooperation with other team members in daily operational work
Be responsible for the preparation of payment lists

WHAT YOU BRING IN

An academic degree in accounting or a comparable education/qualification
Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
Several years of practical experience in financial accounting, including both General Ledger and Accounts Payables functions
Knowledge of accounting and accounting principles of German GAAP, as well as general ledger and accounts payables processes
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (Oracle Netsuite would be an advantage)
Exceptional attention to detail, excellent time management, and problem solving skills
Experience in e-commerce sector would be a big asset
Hands-on mentality, strong interpersonal and communications skills
Proficiency in MS Office package, especially MS Excel
Open to development and innovation
