As Senior FP&A Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial landscape and supporting our growth objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing corporate analysis, planning processes, and collaborating with various business functions to drive financial success. Your focus will include group forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, while managing business cases for investments and growth initiatives.

The Senior FP&A Controller will work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic decisions and improve the overall financial performance of the company.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Drive an efficient and effective planning process for the organization, ensuring all factors are considered in developing a robust plan aligning strategic ambition with effective allocates resources.
- Focus the Business Unit Leadership team on the interventions required to keep performance on track.
- Manage and update forecasts, including quarterly and monthly forecasts, budget planning, and long-term plans (e.g., 5-year plans) including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
- Handle requests from leadership and stakeholders for presentations, analyses, and support across regions and functions. Provide analytical support and monthly reporting with a focus on key financial metrics like volume, margins, costs, and working capital.
- Support external reporting, including presentations and Q&A sessions for banks and investors.
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to senior management.
- Continuously update forecasts based on actual performance and changes in market conditions.
- Act as a business partner to your designated business functions by collaborating with the business on analysis and insight generation to support decision making
- Independently drive deep dive analyses into product selection and sourcing performance to generate insights and suggestions to improve long-term Free Cash Flow.
- Drive analysis to identify ROI from proposed tech investments and help in prioritization of projects
- Partner with business teams to drive cost out and optimal cross functional decisions that maximize long term free cash flow
- Own Supply Chain Finance's FP&A and Month End Close (MEC) process from end to end ensuring variances are tracked down and insightfully explained to executive management (finance and business).
- Develop and execute audit programs on Contribution Profit components and provide detailed findings
WHAT YOU BRING IN:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or Finance. MBA degree an advantage. Previous experience in a high-growth e-commerce or marketplace company is highly preferred. Prior experience in retail or FMCG environment an added advantage.
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting skills.
- Experience in multiple finance roles. Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision making.
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in management or Financial Performance and Analysis and/or Financial controlling experience.
- Exposure to digital transformation of finance function to deliver efficiencies and productivity.
- Understanding of IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).
- Experience in developing, implementing and driving Financial planning & processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English and German
