Factofly is coming to Germany - and we’re looking for someone to lead the charge. We're not hiring a traditional Country Manager. We're looking for a hands-on front runner who can roll up their sleeves, build from the ground up, and take full ownership of launching and growing Factofly in Germany, starting in Berlin.
This isn’t a role for someone looking to manage from a distance - it’s for someone who wants to get in early, move fast, and create real momentum. The playbook is proven in Denmark. Now it’s your turn to shape how it comes to life in a new market.
If you’re an entrepreneurial builder, deeply familiar with the German freelance market, and excited about taking a proven concept and localizing it for Germany, this is the perfect role for you. You’ll be at the heart of Factofly’s growth in Germany, shaping everything from customer experience to growth strategies.
Tasks
What You'll Be Doing
Your job is to make Factofly fly in Germany. How you get there? That’s part of the fun.
- Make it local: Take our model and translate it - culturally, legally, and practically-for German freelancers.
- Get users, keep users: Build smart growth loops that pull in freelancers and keep them happy.
- Do the work: Talk to users. Fix issues. Close partnerships. Write copy. Hustle until it clicks.
- Build trust: Ensure every freelancer has a smooth, professional experience from day one.
- Lay the foundation: From day one, think like a co-founder. What do we need next? Who do we hire? How do we scale?
You will have full support from our Danish HQ and German lawyers.
Requirements
What You Bring
- You know the German freelance scene - Whether you’ve lived it or built for it, you get the culture, the needs, and the gaps.
- You make things happen - You’re not a slide-deck person. You build, ship, and test things yourself.
- You’ve got startup in your DNA - This is early-stage. Things will break. You won’t have all the answers. That excites you.
- You speak fluent German and solid English - You’re comfortable operating in both worlds.
- You’re in Berlin - This is the home base and where we need to win first. You’re tapped into the local scene and ready to hit the ground running.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - you thrive in a startup environment and love turning ideas into action.
- Proven experience in growth, operations, or business development - preferably in a startup, marketplace, or fintech.
