Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Android-based system, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance and usability.

Tasks

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the family. cards Android-based system.
Develop and maintain the companion app (Multiplatform Compose).
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Requirements

Qualifications

Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Kotlin.
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
Proficient understanding of git.
Familiarity with continuous integration.

Bonus Points

Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Infrared (IR), HDMI CEC, and Near Field Communication (NFC).
Knowledge of Swift for companion app development.
Familiarity with Ansible for automation.
Business proficiency in German.
