    Your mission:

    The Engineering Team Lead plays a prominent role in our company's product development lifecycle, ensuring quality software is delivered in alignment with our product roadmap and customer expectations. 

    You are the point person and represent the engineering team, working closely with developers, product owners, QA, stakeholders and customers. With your strong organisational and leadership skills, you will coordinate and play a prominent role in team meetings and decisions as we move our software features and platform forward. You will also lead by example as a developer.

    What you'll do: 

    • Provide leadership in software and implementation decisions
    • Plan and Oversee Projects: Coordinate and supervise project execution, ensuring timely and efficient completion
      This includes prioritising tasks, allocating resources, and collaborating with various internal and external groups
    • Operate day-to-day team meetings and whiteboard sessions
    • Implement software features and participate in the agile process as a developer, part-time
    • Contribute to the assessment, sizing, and prioritisation of the product backlog
    • Identify and coordinate solutions for technical challenges related to: features, bugs, customer integrations, cloud platform, etc.
    • Enable effective brainstorming sessions to spawn creative, open-minded thinking and bring innovative solutions

    Work closely with the CTO to align on:

    • Technical strategy and implementation approach
    • Team hiring and KPIs
    • Architecture and process improvements

    Who you are:

    • University studies in Computer Science or similar experience as IT specialist
    • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
    • The ability to work closely with others and across team roles in a result-oriented way
    • Good interpersonal skills, communication skills, and a self-driven mindset
    • Proven work experience in software development and team management (5 years)
    • Strong knowledge of software architecture and development and broad experience with software methodologies, tools, and processes
    • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive wiki documents, user stories, etc.
    • Experience and expertise with backend and frontend software development technologies like Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Kafka, Angular/Typescript.
    • Experience with cloud platform implementation and deployment processes a plus
