About the role

We are looking for an experienced System Architect & ABAP Developer (f/m/d) with solid expertise in system and SAP Workbench and Transport management to support us in the development and optimization of solutions of SAP Fioneer Financial Services Data Management (FSDM). This position offers you the opportunity to actively shape innovative solutions for the financial services industry and work in a highly dynamic and future-oriented environment.

What is SAP Financial Services Data Management (FSDM)?

FSDM is a cutting-edge data management platform specifically designed for bank management. It facilitates the consolidated and structured management of business data required for various financial and regulatory needs. FSDM provides a centralized, standardized data foundation to optimize analytics, reporting, and operational processes in the financial sector. SAP Fioneer, as the provider of these solutions, drives innovation in financial services by combining SAP technologies with industry-specific expertise.

Role Overview

As a System Architect, you will play a crucial role to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and operation of our systems and the related delivery pipelines. In addition, you will contribute to the development of new applications in the FSDM ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and optimize SAP system configurations, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Oversee the product system landscape for FSDM, delivery pipeline, including build, test, deployment, and release processes.
Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure system stability in collaboration with our CTO area.
Design, develop, test, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Implement best practices in ABAP coding and system administration.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and methodologies to drive innovation.

Requirements

Solid understanding of system management tasks, including performance analysis and upgrade process.
Experience with delivery processes, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools and SAP transport management.
Familiarity with SAP Basis and Technology.
Proven experience as an ABAP Developer with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP programming.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in development and system administration.
