We're looking for a motivated and driven Data Analyst (m/f/d) for FlixTrain who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

You are responsible for creating dashboards and reports in Power BI for FlixTrain's departments
You will collaborate closely with different FlixTrain teams to understand their business problems and derive relevant data solutions to fit their needs
You will evaluate and analyse data (particularly operational data) as well as prepare ad-hoc analyses and recommendations for actions
You will help us build scalable data models & transformations
You will collaborate with teams at Flix SE, such as the Operational Intelligence and Business Intelligence team, on our data models & transformations, as well as ensure FlixTrain specific data is available in our data warehouse

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

A degree from a top university in statistics, engineering, computer science, data science, economics or any related field
1-3 years of experience working in dynamic, fast-paced and data-driven organizations
Advanced excel skills, experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as PowerBI (experience with Snowflake is a plus)
Experience with at least one advanced programming language (ideally Python or alternatively R)
Experience with data modelling, pipelines and basic data engineering
Attention to detail, knowledge of best practices for checking and implementing data quality
Excellent analytical and critical thinkings skills
Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, including the skill to communicate complex problems in simple terms
An interest and ideally a passion for the transportation sector or for operational business problems
Self-motivated and reliable
Team player with a problem-solving attitude
Proficiency in English
At least intermediate level of German
