We're looking for a motivated and driven Middle QA Engineer (with experience in test automation) to join our Booking team in Munich. The vision of the Booking team is to provide an easy, engaging, enjoyable booking experience for all our customers so they love our booking platform. To improve our customers' UX we create an easy-to-use booking workflow in a decoupled system.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

You are part of our product team, helping to build quality into the product and deliver value to our customers
You test throughout the development cycle to provide continuous feedback, guiding development as well as critiquing the product
You are eager to contribute with your critical thinking, automation and exploration skills, while testing and learning about our product on all levels
You are sharing your knowledge with the whole team and driving continuous improvement in all things testing and quality, helping us soar to new heights
You create and automate e2e, regression and acceptance tests
You support backend development cycles with automated contract and load tests
You identify and implement SLI together with the team to identify functional thresholds of your services

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

4+ years of experience as a QA engineer with web applications (both UI and back-end)
Willingness to experiment with different tools and frameworks for test automation
Hands-on experience with Cypress or similar test automation tools to automate UI
You have basic programming skills. We mostly use PHP, Javascript and TypeScript but we know you can learn new languages
You are passionate about exploratory testing to learn about product and uncover unknown risks
You are enthusiastic about testing and passionate about quality
Hands-on experience with Jira
Hands-on experience with Test case management tools
You have experience with testing APIs using Postman or any other tools
Experience integrating test automation in CI pipelines (preferably Gitlab)
Basic knowledge of SQL
You have worked already in an Agile environment. You enjoy close collaboration within the product team, not keeping gates but enabling team to deliver quality frequently
You have strong communication skills and are fluent in English

Nice to have

Some experience with AWS (S3, SQS etc.) and Kafka
Experience working with Figma
