We are seeking a passionate and self-driven Senior Full-Stack Engineer (m/f/d) to join our OPS-Mobile team and contribute to the development and scaling of our backend services and mobile application.
You will be part of Team Ops-Mobile (McDriver) and join their mission in providing the best operational tools to Flix drivers, shop and train personal to foster work efficiency and smooth travel experience. The app is used across the globe to assist our users with operational tasks, such as checking-in passengers and selling tickets.

The team consists of a Product Owner, 3 Full Stack engineers, one Mobile engineer and one data analyst and is now looking to expand its capacity to tackle new challenges. They enjoy a lot of autonomy and fully own their product and any architectural and technical decisions related to it. Besides the app itself, the team also maintains a separate Frontend (React), as well as a Backend that aggregates data to be used by the app.

In your role as a Full-Stack engineer, you will be able to shape and influence an operationally-critical product that is fundamental part of every driver's daily work, and is an essential part within the Flix ecosystem. Along with your team, you are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining state-of-the-art backend systems and services.

Your Responsibilities – Paint the world green

Take hands on development responsibilities within the team: design, develop, deploy and ensure good maintenance of products and services
Lead technical decisions inside and across teams to improve technical excellence through lateral leadership
Take part in the definition of the product vision and strategy
Contribute to the overall mobile strategy in our domain
Contribute in finding the best solutions to facilitate the work of drivers, support and operations personnel
Help define what success looks like and use metrics to evaluate progress towards your goals
Transform ideas and wishes into a structured yet agile development agenda

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

You have at least 7 years of experience as a software engineer
You have gained extensive experience in developing backend and cloud services
You are well familiar with Kotlin or Java
You have good knowledge of React Native and TypeScript
Experience in working with kafka and data streaming pipelines
Hands on experience in automation and deployment of applications into cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) using Terraform
You have good communication skills and a pragmatic, solution driven style of work
You enjoy an agile, autonomous environment where you own your work
Fluent in English
